It’s 11 hrs into the 1st day of the new decade of the new millenium.

What’s my resolution for the year?

To put more heart into everything I do – be it work, family or community.

The trick now is getting the right balance.

To all, Happy New Year!

…which makes tub water irresistable to them. both abang & adik has been repeatedly caught sneaking a gulp or two (or more…) whilst splishing & splashing during bath time.

i don’t recall catching kakak doing the same.

shall remember to remind them not to do the same at the public swimming pools *yeesh!*

woke up to a slight chance of rain. that would’ve killed my morning plan to get abang and kakak frolicking in the dbkl pool.

thank god that by the time we dropped off aryan @ keramat with his grannies, the sky cleared up into a brilliant blue dotted with puffs of clouds.

kakak had to get warmed up by paddling abt with her arm floats on but wqs soon divested of it, once her water confidence came back. abang spent equal times in both kiddie and normal pools – having had the chance to gulp down a few mouthfuls of the pool water in each.

We had fun the whole time we were there excepting the last 10 mins when the lifeguard on duty was kind enuff to lend 2 swimming boards to the kids. kakak’s mood took a turn for the worse when her attempts at using the board to paddle was unsuccessful (she’s much like me in that she has a problem accepting that she can’t always excel at everything she does in the first few attempts)

Needless to say, I ended up having to handle 2 tearful kids thru the showers after our time at the pool was out & only managed to persuade them to get into the car by promising them that we’d have happy meal for their lunch today.

We are now at home – aryan having the time of his life romping around in the family area with me and kakak & abang arguing who’s turn is it at the computer
