heh. hepi niu yer.

never been big on resolutions – since i tend not to keep em or achieve em.

if anything, it will be more on ensuring ashley, anaqi and aryan gets the best that we could afford to provide for them in terms of material, spiritual and also of course, family time!

so whatever can contribute towards achieving the above – goes!

here’s to another decade in the (not-so) new millenium!

update:

just discovered i did come up with a few for 2009 – let’s see whether that went well?

  • overcome my fear of drowning and just get to learning how to swim - achieved by aug 2009
  • see through whether this new specialisation offered to me works out - still in progress
  • make a point to reduce tv time for the kids by doing more activities - not so much, if anything – while in confinement, the kids ended up watching more since i need them to be occupied.
  • resume working out.. slowly though.. don’t wanna end up pulling any muscles - achieved (if swimming counts) can’t go into crazy gym neophyte mode as i was expecting & it’s never a good idea to suddenly work out like crazy while preggers when you never been exercising regularly before
  • and start cutting down on those calories intake that was all important when anaqi was exclusively breastfeeding - achieved prior to 2nd trimester of pregnancy.

see how getting pregnant after you made your new year resolutions excuses you from not achieving some of them? heh!.. so here’s a tip.. if you fear not being able to achieve your goals, you could try getting preggers!
