been remiss too in updating about kakak and adik.. so will do adik first.
he’s going to be 2 yrs and 5 mths come tomorrow… weight currently still hovering between 12 – 13 kgs.. even though he eats quite regularly and drinks milk voraciously. haven’t measured his height lately – but he’s tall enough to reach keyboards on the workstation @ home.. so will need to start moving those highly objectionable items from his reach.
as highlighted in an earlier post – he was hospitalised for the first time in his life on 19th june (for kakak, her first time was then too).. harrowing experience – from the diagnosis to waiting to be admitted to the ward to watching both having to be fixed with a drip and just pure dealing with two kids being unwell at the same time. the last time they did a duet like this was when both got the chicken pox – but that was nothing compared to last 2 weeks.
anyway, am just grateful that they’re fine now and the stay just reinforced my dislike for hospitals (is it a wonder that i’m usually itching to be discharged the day i delivered the both of them)
to say that anaqi is a naughty kid will be too much.. but he is cheeky and sometimes tend to misbehave – especially when it comes to seeing his kakak being engrossed in anything other than playing with him. and in times of desperation, when reasoning and scolding does not make the cut – i call upon my secret weapon – le purple oliphaunt!!

Ly-d.. it’s so cute that Anaqi is afraid of that thing.
Mariessa (now 27 months old) is afraid of cats (she got that from me, hehe) I am very, afraid of cats too (still). But now if the cat is at a distance or she can’t see one near her while i try to scare her into not/doing something, she will counter me, saying… Cat, come tangkap Mama!! Boleh tak macam tu? hahahah..
I think tak lama lagi pun, when Anaqi’s over his fear of the purple thing, he will try to scare YOU pulak nanti. Hehehe..
