every weekday – i’d drive and drop off kakak at her pre-school. her teachers are also familiar with anaqi – as i’ve been bringing him along from when he was a 1-month old thing drooling all over his baby car seat to his two-odd years happily waving hi to the teachers and goodbye to his kakak.

the normal routine when we arrive at the gate will be that kakak puts on her bag and then she would salam – kiss – hug me before saying goodbye. now and then, if anaqi is in the mood – he’d also ask for a kiss.

the last two weeks though – he started donning his own nappy bag upon us reaching the gate. and would subsequently start to wail as i pull away to head for his grannies’. when asked what’s wrong – he’d point back to the direction of the pre-school.

me: adik nak apa?

anaqi: schoooooo….

me (misunderstanding him): ehh .. kan adik dah pakai shoe?

anaqi (while shaking his head and trying to unlock the door): noooo… schoooo!!

me: ohhh…you want to go to school like kakak ?

anaqi (brightening up): yesss… schooooooo

the pre-school has a progamme for toddlers – called realtots.. but i dunno.. probably it is too early for him ? plus the fact that he ain’t potty trained yet
