a nursing/pumping room at work.

the project manager for our office relocation has included as part of the new office layout, space for moms who are on extended breastfeeding to express in comfort. a whole room – with sofas and a wash basin and all.

which is exactly what i had wished of having at the workplace – for the past 20-odd months.

now we’ve moved into the new office and have access to the facility – every attempt to use the room would be thwarted by last minute calls to join a meeting or i’d keep delaying the session til after i complete a few tasks… and suddenly it was time to head home..
i love my milk

fast forward 2 months after moving to the new building..i’ve already stopped bringing the avent out-and-about set.. since i rarely get to stick to my scheduled sessions. and for those who are in the know, once the schedule is off – your body readjusts to reflect the change in demand. anaqi only nurses directly when i return from the office.. otherwise, it’s dugrow + milo for him.

oh well.. at least when i plan for offspring #3.. i don’t have to worry about looking for a comfortable nook for pumping!
