all i want for christmas is…
fara | 12/13/2008 | 12:49 ama longgggggggg break.
no..
can that.. .. what i want is for it to be september and for me to have answered differently to a critical question then.
i just realised – how tedium is tiring. it’s not that i don’t have nothing to do. it’s that i have things to do that i don’t know which to start on first. that’s what happens when you join a project mid-way. and the role you take up is one that should be in place when the project is initiated.
it doesn’t help that i have an idea of what i’d like to achieve and i get the vision given (i’ve been b*tching about the same thing not being given due notice in other projects i was involved in) – but am lacking the tools and time to really make it all happen at the level of quality that i want it to be. i hate doing half-baked attempts… as it reflects badly on me.
warghhhhhh… scratch that.
just give me the discipline to do what i intended to do this weekend so next week would be slightly sane-r.
ameeen.
btw: good thing that i only need to be stressed about work. and not abt my webhosting service being disrupted or any of the likes. i’ve been with exabytes ever since a colleague recommended them back in 2005.
back then the chief factor was it was dirt cheap (by my standards).. and i have not turned back since.. not just because of the price, but also due to the tonnes of promotions, activities and of course, the level of customer service demonstrated.
i’ve logged a few support tickets in the wee hours of the night, expecting to get my answer in the morning – and to be pleasantly surprised when i saw the responses being given ranging between 5-30 minutes.
and exabytes keeps their subscribers posted on any patches available for the commonly used web applications – which definitely helps us look out for potential security loopholes in our webspace.
their latest promo is now the switchhhh! programme. especially for those currently on other webhosting providers and who would like to be hosted on a better provider. at $199 / year – that makes it less than $20 / month… some of you would actually spend that much on lunch alone.
so give it a go. if you’re not satisfied within 100 days – i … no.. they guarantee your money back !
