ok. so there’s Eid Fitri .. which was ok all in all.

then it was back to work. there was chaos surrounding some unpaid amount of work performed. which i ended up being smack in the eye of the storm of this matter. an eye-opener though, of what i shouldn’t do in any of my future undertakings

then there was the final module for my pmp. honestly, didn’t allocate enough time prior to go through either books (pmbok & the study guide).. so planned to cram (and NOT burn, hopefully) over the long weekend in order to be ready for my certification exam this friday.

then murphy struck.. both kids started breaking out on thursday in spots. not the fun, colorful type like skeebo (of jojo’s circus fame).. but the red, blotchy and itchy type.

so between feeding the kids medication, ensuring they don’t scratch themselves, reading chapters and trying to summarise from memory what i’ve managed to soak up.. i didn’t set a foot outside of my own compound.

and last nite, had this conversation with kakak after i had requested that she help looking out for her brother while i try to revise a bit more.

kakak (k): mama, how long do you need to read your books?

me: until this friday – once i am done with my assessment and pass it, mama won’t need to read at night.

k: why do you read books at night? why don’t you read in the day like me?

me: coz mama work in the day la sayang.

k: ok.. but then on saturday, you have to take me to butterfly park and sunday, we have to watch high school musical 3, ok?!

what else can i do but agree?
