so initially planned a weekend away – pee dee to be exact – but then with them kids just recovering from the sniffles and coughs… not exactly a good idea.
then contemplated to have a picnic breakfast at either perdana lake gardens or titiwangsa with the family. the weather didn’t seem so cooperative plus the grannies have a wedding to attend.
ended up just having lunch at home and bought him a cake – konon nak beli from bakerzin – didn’t realise i had to place the order 1 day in advance, d’uh! ape la lame-oh punya bonda… so bought fr the store next door @ miki ojisan no mise (whuteva that means)…Â
anaqi was super-cooperative altho it was round about his nap time when we finally whipped out the cake from the fridge. the cake itself was so-so – too much cream than cake – dude, where’s my cheesecake?!
yaie and nenek bought anaqi and kakak new outfits… 4 pairs of romper suit for him and a pink gypsy skirt for her. kakak chose a bright red cap with lion motif on it. me and amir? hey.. we procreated! LOL!
that’s it!! from now on am planning for his 2nd birthday LOL (yeah right… the procrastinator in me will never allow this)
oh.. by the way, if ziah is on one spectrum when it comes to baby shoes - i am at the extreme end – anaqi only has one (1) … i repeat, one pair of shoe (as per illustrated above)… anak aku jalan pun tak pandei lagi.. bakpe pakai kasut ?
(that’s what he gets for being born to a mother who’s not crazy about footwear!)

i used to be crazy about footwear, so now the craze had been handed down to daniel lah. kasut dia pun dah more than twenty pairs dah. tu pun my mum asyik bebel tak kasi beli kasut daniel lagi..kalau tak memang hanyut lah..hehe…

dura: he he.. like mummy like son ehh… let’s hope my lack of enthusiasm for footwear does not translate into anaqi going barefoot everywhere!
ziah: tu le pesal nye… i went thru his photos mase baru lahir tu… alahaii.. rasa nak turn back time (of course this is more because i’m omitting those memories of sleepless nites worrying abt his bilirubin levels etc etc)
