once upon a time, there were 10 8 budak itams

who with wide-eyed naivette joined a company in its infancy.. it seemed to be the dream job.. where possibilities were endless..

then before the year ended 2 budak itam left the family - either to venture on their own or to return to the previous family.

the remaining 6 valiantly forged on – but the following year, one followed her heart – which took her far far away… but they kept in touch.

5 years later – all of the remaining 5 now can (proudly?) claim of being 7 years in service.. 5 additional AL and 3 additional SL entitled, a few revisions and probably promotions but not without a few scars and falls… it is to the amazement of most who knew them that they remained steadfast and loyal *sic*… but each to her own as to why this is so.

but now that the 7 year mark has been reached – will we still see the same number still forging ahead?

am testing out this blog after the upgrade.. test entry.. test upload photos and testing including gallery image via wpg2 !

finally gotten most of what i intended to do done… there’s a few tweaks here and there – since hv changed to a different theme. a few major links missing and am not quite contented with the way blogroll is displayed.

it used to take me less than half a day.. that was when i only had kakak  to contend with. now got me a hero too!! so the fact that manage to finish it (albeit 98.5% complete) is still making me a happy mommyyy

been ages since i did any updates to the wp install or the wpg2 plugin.. so am finally doin it today.

the layout may be out of whack but am backing up everything in case something falls apart – hopefully can restore everything, or almost everything. wish me luck!

emmm looks like ain’t gonna happen today peeps.. chickened out when i saw how long my home backup is taking. dun think i can handle the mental anguish of not being able to blog if something f*cks up.. plus.. anaqi just called for his feed .. !!

update 2007-12-02 13:45:

have managed to update wp to 2.3.1 – reverted to default theme until i figure out the gallery and wpg2 upgrade

but so far – nothin much broken.. touch wood!!

gallery updated to 2.2.3…

now to go forth on wpg2 next!!
