i’ve only had two cars so far in my life (well, there’s the mini that papa loaned me back in 2001 but that doesn’t count)

both are from our national car maker

the first was a second-hand (actually 3rd or 4th hand, if i wanna be precise) wira – it served us well for the first 3 years we had it.

it did have one major issue which bugged me – the power window always act up at the least convenient times. the one burned into my memory was heading early to menara tan&tan for meeting with sap and being stuck in the parking floor for > 30 mins – just becoz the darned window won’t wind up after i stuck my hand out to get the parking ticket.

i was also in my final trimester of my pregnancy at that point – good thing kakak did not decide to pop out due to her mom’s stressing out.

so when we decided to switch cars – it was a blessing to get a brand new one. still with the national car maker – a waja. i’ve had reservations previously due to all the horror stories of doors falling off when the model was first launched. but we were also happy with the purchase.

until toosday noon. when i was with soohsia heading for a discussion outside of klcc. was leaving the season parking area when the driver’s window decided to get stuck 1/4 way winding up and making a LOUD annoying sound.

the friday last and on toosday mornin’ it got stuck for awhile too – but after a few attempts at winding up and down and tugging at the window piece – i managed to wind it up fully.

but toosday noon it just wouldn’t budge!!! called amir to decide whether or not to send it direct to a workshop or wait for him to do the deed. finally decided i need to go – postponed the discussion, dropped off soo hsia and ended up camping outside the workshop for 1 hr ++ while the mechanic replaced the motor for the power window mechanism – melayang $230 this month.. *sigh~*
