when i go out with kakak, we’d always get comments/compliments from total strangers on how adorable she looks with her curls.

some would even venture to ask whether this was her original hair (d’oh! – kalo dah mama dia nak gi potong rambut pun setahun skali susah – apo laie nak pi perm2 rambut anak plak)

anywho, it had been quite a battle to even get her to trim her bangs… i would have to convince her that it’s quite the thing to do esp. since she’s going to school and with long bangs she wouldn’t be able to concentrate on learning.

i just recently got me hair chopped off – due to excessive drooling (not me!! anaqi larh). there’s this belief that when ur baby starts teething, the mom will start shedding a lot of hair – and boy, do i shed a lot of hair. every other day i’d be collecting wads of my hair from the family room, the master bedroom and the bathroom.

am digressing though.

well, since seeing me chop off me hair – kakak had recently requested that i cut her hair too. just to ensure i got her meaning right – asked her whether she meant her bangs.. “no mama… i want my hair short like your hair”

aiyaya… now it’s my turn to be reluctant. sayang wooo… it’s been nearly two years since she had her hair cut short. but kakak insisted – so last thursday, after her evening bath, i grabbed a pair of scissors and basically chopped off her hair – from it being just up to her waist – now it is only shoulder-length.

will need to put the before and after photos laa..

i still have the sacrificed locks – another belief is to bury the hair in ur own compound – supposed to be cooling. i dunno – it’s still in my wardrobe – along with my chopped off tresses

should have been on sick leave today.

could not go on sick leave coz i have to conduct training today and there’s nobody to replace me

nobody to replace me coz my team only 2 people and that other person is already conducting at another location – boo hoo!

conducting of training a chore since i am sick today – talking a lot when you hv sore throat is not recommended (d’oh!)

so after today, if you bump into me and i just give u a painful smile – it’s not you – it’s me !!!

note 2: kakak is also unwell – but thank god amir’s finishing his leave so am able to delegate the caretaking to him. thing that bums her out the most of being unwell is not being able to sayang sayang her baby bro
