long reprieve from work
fara | 6/6/2007 | 10:44 pmi’ve always been whining that the longest leave i ever took since i started working, apart from my 2 maternity leaves, was my wedding leave.. (raya does not count, of course!)
so… since kakak has started attending school this year plus it coincides with her birthday.. i took a week off to celebrate and just chill with the family.
we ended up near a beach for 3d2n… kakak had the time of her life in the pool… did not even bother heading for the beach… me? snoozed with aqi a lot.. once, by the poolside while supposedly monitoring kakak in the kiddie pool – heh.
am now back in kl. had earlier planned not to check my work mails.. but being me, i just can’t resist checkin’ so here i am … at 10:43pm.. trying to respond to some emails… jeez… next leave i take – i will be internet free!! errr… prolly not internet free.. but work-related access free!!!!!!! (good luck on getting that done!)
