office politics is a bummer - no? in short, nuff to get me surfing jobstreet and scanning the classifieds in the papers - which i never seriously did for the past 6 years

on another note, yesterday dalam sejarah - my first time being pulled over by a patrol car. for those who park in klcc and need to head for damansara area, the shortest way would be out tun razak exit - past tan & tan towers and makan kanan into the tunnel for akleh.

tonnes of people do that… on a daily basis.. but i got caught. mea culpa… coz i’ve been dumb enuff not to notice that i actually cut infront of a white waja with blue checkered design and royal malaysia police emblem on it … keh keh. anywho.. i pulled over, admitted me mistake and was prepared to have the policeman give me a ticket. luckily, i was let off with just a warning… macihhhh tuan!!!

on home turf - kakak’s been unwell for the past week and was kept home from spreading the cold - anaqi’s feeding more than usual - which is good since i keep worrying whenever i return from work and there’s still 2 bottles not consumed.

will need to do something to perk me (and this blog) up!

i’ve always been whining that the longest leave i ever took since i started working, apart from my 2 maternity leaves, was my wedding leave.. (raya does not count, of course!)

so… since kakak has started attending school this year plus it coincides with her birthday.. i took a week off to celebrate and just chill with the family.

we ended up near a beach for 3d2n… kakak had the time of her life in the pool… did not even bother heading for the beach… me? snoozed with aqi a lot.. once, by the poolside while supposedly monitoring kakak in the kiddie pool - heh.

am now back in kl. had earlier planned not to check my work mails.. but being me, i just can’t resist checkin’ so here i am … at 10:43pm.. trying to respond to some emails… jeez… next leave i take - i will be internet free!! errr… prolly not internet free.. but work-related access free!!!!!!! (good luck on getting that done!)

overall verdict - very happy baby!!

had intended to hv the checkup tomorrow but as on EL due to me brothers having conjunctivitis - not risking kakak and anaqi getting it.

good thing made that decision as dr siti said the risk lasts for 2 weeks.

will be heading out of town next week.. off to a family vacation. it’s been ages since we took kakak anywhere… and this would be the first vacation with two kids in tow
