no thanks to ky’s post, i have developed a craving.

had tasted it a few times – loved it, of course – peanut butter is my weakness.

always saw it @ the chocolatier, concourse level, suria klcc but never bothered about it since, heyyyy.. i work here right? i can buy it anytime i’d like to.

now, that post of his has got me craving for it. so i headed over to the chocolatier’s. lo and behold, they’re taking awhile to replenish the stock….

well.. that’s for the first 4 hrs or so of the day.. by 10-11 am, my tummy would be making its own symphony.

last nite was invited to lynor’s potluck buka puasa do. penin jap nak bawak ape.. takkan nak buat potato salad lagie heh – so dendeng daging it was… a dish i’ve been doin every week of puasa – it’s pretty easy to prepare and keeps for a few days for those times when we’re stumped on what to cook for sahur (i nearly never cook for sahur – mama does that actually )

good to be able to gather with friends…  wish i could host one or two in the future – once we finally settle on where we wanna stay that is. staying with parents makes it hard to entertain me own friends – not that mama would mind – but i’d like to do it in a place of my own. insya ALLAH by next yr…

during the iftar – managed to find out that a few more of our batch have started their blogs too.. so am placing those links here too…

confused? i was too.. but this explains the statement.

i’ve actually started feeling slight movements within me. which is comforting to feel .. at least i know i am eating right… weightgain-wise, seems like am following my previous pregnancy with kya. before the end of 2nd trimester, i don’t seem to put on any. and if last pregnancy is anything to go by, i’d be packing on the kilos come final trimester (when it’s actually supposed to taper off )

anywho.. had captured the img of the baby’s 4th mth scan but somehow can’t locate where i stored it in this notebook – that’s what happens when u have separate profiles for home n work.

yeay! i finally got me what i’ve been waiting for since mar ‘05.

… right about the time when i got meself pretty fed-up with relying on pubic public transportation… the fact that it nearly always acts up in bad weather, the unbelievable amount of pushing by ‘lady’ commuters.. i’m not sorry forking out that extra bit to get me to work at least in a less stressful environment.

apparently, my company’s quota for season passes had been used up when i tried to apply last yr. when asked on the list of those who are currently holding a pass under the company’s ticket – the response we got was – ‘we do not have any records‘ …

err? didn’t you say that the quota’s used up? how could u claim that unless u had some data to back that up? …. sheeshhh…

so i pretty much gave up of ever getting hold of one after checking on the status the 3rd time (circa nov ‘05)

fast forward 11 months… suddenly was offered a season pass. i’d be dumb not to take it.. and after yesterday’s failed attempt of actually pushing my fat tummy infront of the respective faces of these inconsiderate seated commuters pretending to be dozing the whole trip to bangsar – i’ve pretty much made my mind.

fast forward 20 or so hours, i found myself staring at the season pass gate – talking to a disembodied voice asking me repeatedly whether the pass has come out of the ticket reading device.

great.. my first day as a season pass holder and i get my pass stuck in the device. what a way to start the day. c’est la vie.. at least i’m not being jostled and pushed around by crazy makciks boarding the train

so this evening before i leave the basement – will need to make a pit stop at the klcc parking mgmt office to re-configure my season pass.
