got a ym from nadd yesterday that shasha just delivered a baby boy on sunday. was just wondering when she was expecting her baby.

so i’ve managed to accomplish what i planned

• prepare kuah kacang ala mama’s recipe (1st attempt at preparing it all by myself - about time… since amir’s crazy about kuah kacang and ketupat)
• prepare ketupat (of course the instant kind - sri nona or whatchamacallit)
• bake another batch of honey cornflakes (i see this as a fast moving item during raya later)
• do all outstanding laundry
• change the draperies (not new ones, mind you - this set was the one mama papa ordered when i got hitched)
• packed items to bring to in-laws

list of outstanding tasks

• bake another batch of chocolate chip cookies (yet another fast moving item - all due not to the potential guests - more to inhouse cookie monsters)
• iron family raya outfit (wondering whether the main raya baju kurung i made for raya still fits - we’ll know tomorrow)
• pack for potential overnite @ atuk’s in tg malim on 2nd syawal
• get me that chocolate milkshake that mcd’s s’wangsa didn’t have

it’s all so quite over here as the masses has left the residential area - when woke up for sahor this morn - the whole row of houses behind ours was dark. raya morning will see the street clear of cars that are normally parked haphazardly - your normal middle-class township sight.

so here’s to the last day of ramadhan - may it end with us achieving to lose not only kilos but also gain in spiritual enlightenment (chewahh!!~ cam real je)

so now this movie has entered my list of movies to watch… yeee ha.. prolly should make it a girl’s outing?

yeayyyyy~!!! the long leave has started. like most of my colleagues, am taking monday til friday off for eid mubarak.

it’s already 28th Ramadhan - and alhamdulillah, due to my condition, i have yet to miss a day of fasting.

there are still a few things to be completed before the actual day - e.g. preparation of 3 more types of candies/cookies, last minute shopping for me mum, spring (raya) cleaning etc

but i’m just happy for the break. u may also see me with hubby and kya in tow @ tgv or cathay cineleisure catching a movie. kya’s been a-hankering for popcorn & movies since the last two weeks.

no thanks to ky’s post, i have developed a craving.

had tasted it a few times - loved it, of course - peanut butter is my weakness.

always saw it @ the chocolatier, concourse level, suria klcc but never bothered about it since, heyyyy.. i work here right? i can buy it anytime i’d like to.

now, that post of his has got me craving for it. so i headed over to the chocolatier’s. lo and behold, they’re taking awhile to replenish the stock….
