this is kya.. watching winnie the pooh heffalump movie.. and if you’re wondering.. i did not place the blankie over her head.. that was all her doing… she likes to re-enact what she sees in the movie..
you know those types of people who can actually memorise and love to recite movie lines while it’s running?… most of the times it’s irritating… like helloo??? i’d like to watch the movie and not listen to you?!
but kya does it sooooooo charmingly (ok.. so i am biased…!! i am her mom!)
noticed in the telly that there’ll be a show - disney live! winnie the pooh - sometime end of this month.. so i checked out the booking site (axcess tickets)… the details are as below… am still toying with the idea… dunno whether kya’s ready for a live performance…

i’ve been wanting to update but the words just wouldn’t come.. prolly i need a break?! he he
last week was pantai timur week (i had some business to be carried out yonder)… had the worst experience at an eatery there - imagine placing your orders 45 mins ago and not having at least your drinks served … even after numerous requests - with kya wailing kakakkkkk nak airrrr masakkkkkkk laa mamaaaaaaaa… can’t you at least friggin plunk some ice into a glass of hot water?!!
nuff said - we left the godforsaken eatery (the name of the place was pok nang tomyam or some other) and headed for a new one - kya already turned cranky - thank you very much!
this weekend we’ll be heading for southern peninsular instead… batu pahat to be exact.. got us to wedding invitations … one family another friend.. this should be interesting.. i’ve never actually set foot on batu pahat land.. asked the friend whether she could recommend places to go or things to do in bp.. this is a town u see… and not a city
and ohh!!.. kya finally managed to get to see a movie last saturday… over the hedge… as couldn’t get hold of the phone or e-ticketing quotas… had arrived early at tgv to purchase the 11am show… kya immediately demanded that i buy her popcorn and wanted to enter the cinema… that’s how excited she was, after her last disappointment. had to distract her with a promise to buy her blow bubbles if she would wait patiently…
all in all, she managed to sit thru the movie for 1hr 10 mins… the last 20 mins we missed as she demanded to go wee wee… and spent a good 15 mins waiting for it to be settled…
so what’s the next good kiddie show to be screened?!

was all buzzed to meet up with old skoolmates at klcc after lunch (they’re meeting for lunch but since i was already in the midst of preparing lunch when recvd the invite, decided to head out after)… as amir just came back from his nite shift, decided that kya will be coming along - so that he could sleep in peace
so got kya all ready - gym bag all ready also (planned to lajak there after meet-up.. gym closing early today)… suddenly she got all hooked on some program on playhouse disney…still ok la.. just wait til program finishes.
then she started to get cranky.. tried to persuade her to come along… she never says no to a trip to the gym..
‘kakak tanak gi klcc dgn mama ke? lepas nie kita pegi exercise, nak?? kakak kan dah siap pakai baju exercise?’…
‘kakak tanakkkk exercise!!!! kakak nak tgk tv!!’
‘balik nanti kita tgk laa. ikut mama ye??
‘kakak tanakkkk !!!! kakak nak tgk tv!!’

according to our revised plan, we should be moving to selayang mid-2006. looking at amir’s shift schedule, on his off-days, i may need to either take the car to work (which will leave amir & kya vehicle-less)Â or *gasp!!* the BUS!
the last bus i boarded was a putra feeder bus - of which i only had to spend max 10 mins on. i dunno whether i am well-conditioned for this kind of commute
which is why i spent half of my lunch time today just browsing thru the rapidkl website to gauge how long would my trip be from selayang to klcc.
after a lot of clicking here and there (to combine rate/route/destination), i could roughly say that i will need to switch buses at least 2 times. from a local shuttle - to trunk line - to city shuttle. each switch, the routes would have at min of 5-15 mins bus frequency rate (at best!). but no mention of the avg travel time since for klang valley, there’s no such thing as an avg travel duration for public transportation (esp if it’s plying the same road as private vehicles)… warghhh!!! i so miss the met!
one day, will need to attempt the route - will give update on my experience. betcha i will end up either utterly pissed or utterly speechless.
