was done at the gym 7.30pm-ish last nite. skipped the idea of showering there as wanted to rush home. made the fatal mistake of opting to use jln ampang (after the rain stopped) instead of taking AKLEH (for those uninitiated to that stretch of highway - it’s ampang-kl elevated highway).
so i paid by crawling along jln ampang after the tun razak - ampang junction. did i say i hv a bad case of astigmatism (?sp?). so driving at nite is pretty much an ordeal. back to the road condition - you hear odd honks and beeps (fr motorbikes) from those caught in the same effin traffic. what were they thinking? that this is little einsteins’ rocket that needs encouragement (in their case, clapping) to move?
felt my stress level abt to rise after crawling 5 meters in the same amount of minutes. switched from the babbling radio station to cd - first song heard was numa numa song *sighhhhhh* not the right song for this situation.
rummaged thru amir’s collection of cds and managed to get the one i want. skipped right to track 16 - wish i. my current fav song. conjured images of palmtrees, sea and hula dancing and the lot.
good therapy. so instead of fuming - i ended up singing all the way home.

same case at mrr2 having to commute from office in wangsa maju back home.. blurghhh!! sometimes u thk at abt 7.30-8 traffic would be better, but nope… sometimes it’s worse!! luckily im car-pooling with hubby so saves my legs the ache!! (my car’s manual u see! :P)
huhu.. i can’t even remember how to manage with manual gears. pretty sure the car will die on me at inopportune moments (e.g. traffic lights)
ni reconsidering whether not to stay in slyg. both me and amir workin in kl, ashley aka kya stay with grannies during the day… can imagine the round robbin we’d be doin every day.. can also hear the ka-ching ka-ching @ gas station..
wish i could afford staying smack dab in kl central.. cycle to work jugak!!
