yikes!
27 02 2006just remembered i’m one of those who’s yet to pay up for the gift intended for syamrin’s kid. aiyayayaya… ainul.. don’t kill me kay?! will mb2u it to you tomorrow. when i relocate that email you sent me… or prolly u could send me the 3rd and final reminder? *wince*
this morning was our project leader’s makan2. he’s leaving on wednesday and had intended to treat the whole floor breakfast. as it turned out, half the floor was away (how could that be? - plant turnaround, that’s why). so instead of just breakfast - it could last til lunch. quite a number of occupants of level 59 & 60 came downstairs too. then we saw her - the one who used-to-be our project director. thankfully, she’s been assigned to do greater things so has no time to bother us minions. mentioned the fact that she’s here to ash - and lo & behold! she actually came by my cubicle to have a goss session.
what could’ve been just a 2-second ‘hie there’ thing turned into a 30-min long session on the following:
1. the fact that ash registered in dec and she wasn’t in the loop (like, who dya think you are to ash?)
2. her asking how to get hitched with guys online (huh?) as that’s what accenture guys do to get their life-partners.
3. her rubbing it in to us - the fact that we’re stuck in this project for more than we should be. basically what she’s trying to imply is that we’re committing career-suicide lah!
methinks she’s dying for female companionship - since her work is surrounded by network and data center guys. oh well, hope that’ll be like the last encounter for the next 1/2 year at least. enuff ego already.
Ya man! I don’t understand why do i still have to “report” to her that I am getting married! I hate bosses who think they are bosses even at public functions. I once attended a wedding dinner and asked the person beside me “is she your boss?”. She said “YES. HOW DO YOU KNOW?” of course i know! she talked as if she’s the host of the wedding dinner.
and please! one day, when everyone is married and you are alone at home……dont tell me you wanna join your friends who are happily having private moments with their families.
she wants to become buddy2 la ASH, who else can she gossip with? with her own team she has to maintain some level of authority and gossiping about relationships don’t go well with authority.
hahahaha!! gossip boleh…tapi jangan sampai belagak “i dont need a relationship”. u need a relationship with your family! maybe i should ask her out to psycho her one day.
