how not to exercise
fara | 1/13/2006 | 10:26 amlast week i was a bit late for my aerobic class (yes!yes! i finally joined the darned gym that i’ve been meaning to since mid last year)… no, scrap that.. not a bit late.. i only manage to slither into the room 15 minutes into the class. Me being the ever-so-enthusiastic one just jumped into the whole chereography – and ended up with stitches in me tummy after 10 minutes.
yet, being a bit stubborn.. i continued the class until the very end – some 45 mins worth of it. needless to say, when i reached home, i ended up feeling sore all over.
this week, me a bit smarter. came in earlier. did me own warm-up & stretches. then joined the class ON TIME. and had the warm-up with the rest of the class. and surprise surprise, no major pain! you’d never know that i had been stepping hi-lo for 1 hr last nite – apart from the fact that i nodded off to sleep b4 10 pm (even before kakak)

U even skipped PJK classes while in school!

eheks.. aiya.. not so loud aa.. i am very de selective of what i call appropriate exercise. running 4 rounds of the school grounds does not constitute as exercise.. that’s torture!!
what was that endurance thing-y that we had to do each year. the 1.5 km fitness test or something.. i would always finish among the last.. no point pushing it when u know u gonna fall flat on ur face gasping for breath at the end (actually, 3 mins into the darned thing!)
