i’ve never had any problems figuring out what to buy for amir – he’s pretty much a gadget and gizmos type of guy (which guy ain’t?)..

but for those of you gal frens who are clueless, here’s a guide that pretty much nails it.

although, another thing that methinks can be added to the list may be

auto accessories
/blogmages/Focal-Wheels-F7S.jpg – sport rims / audio systems (think Pimp My Ride on MTV)
- not that i’d know which brands are the best but if you care to listen intently to their (i.e. the guys in your life) comments on another car’s accessories, you may get some idea
- or if you’re like me, who can’t even tell a 15-inch rim from a 17-inch one, prolly it would be safe to just drag the lucky guy along & ask ‘em to chose the one they’d like.
- err be prepared with the big bucks though, since these things actually can burn a hole in your purse (make that 10 purses)

was going thru my daily fair what’s happening around the world courtesy of google news.

this one caught my attention > digital time capsules.

i personally have never contributed to time capsules – i don’t think in malaysia you can afford to do it – your school today may end up becoming some commercial centre tomorrow (i do know that my school is relocating since some parts of land gazetted for the school has been turned into a residential area – like wtf?)

but sending an email/letter to myself – 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 yrs down the road is a pretty nifty idea – freaky, maybe. but still nifty. but is it feasible? i can’t even locate emails from 3 yrs ago in my own archives. redundancy is all good and fine but hey.. it’s just a dumb letter. who’s to make sure it gets sent?

however, just for the fun of it, methinks will give it a go. send me an email 1 year down the road. see whether what i aspire to happen by end 2006 does eventuate.

having had doraemon, mickey mouse, mr bean played in hunnreds of iterations – i keep hearing the songs from these cartoons in my head.

1360 this is her. 10 yrs (prolly earlier) from now, she’ll try to destroy this shot but as for now, i’ll just enjoy hving all these shots of her. she loves her bathtub (it ain’t even hers… it’s her cousins’ but what kya wants .. kya gets).. anywho.. lately she’s gotten into this habit of just zoning out while immersed in warm soapy water.. yeah.. she can manage to get that comfy in a tub that can no longer fit her – the other end of the tub comes midway her calf. have a full shot but that would not be appropriate la kan.. kesian anak aku.

1370she’s know become very attached to her cousins in sentul. well, actually methinks it’s more due to their very interesting bedroom – complete with kiddie-sized furnitures, tonnes of toys & it’s air-conditioned! look at her playing with the toy iron. you’d think she’s had prior experience with the appliance. and no.. i did not dera my daughter & made her iron her own clothes. though this can make good ammo once she grows up and starts slacking off her chores

it’s news like this make me feel like advocating ‘an-eye-for-an-eye’ kinda punishment. blardy bangang guy.. and to think he actually has his own family and kids.. and to be able to do that to a hapless child.. lemme at that guy..
