it’s been a year since last raya. hopefully we get to see the next one. drive safe. remember to rest when the mood hits you, regardless that you’re 1 hour or 5 mins away from your destination.

datang le ke rumah. whoever knows the place – remember to give me a ring – mana ler tau, kot kuar beraya. to those who don’t know the place – gimme a ring also – so that i can give you the address and probably some directions (though i am hapless with directions)

and a prayer to loved ones long departed and our brothers & sisters who are facing further trials & tribulations instead of cheer & laughter.

depending how the moon-sighting turns out on wednesday, it’s two (or three) days before raya. i am working both today and wednesday, seeing that we (amir, kya and i) will be in celebrating with mak in pj on 1st syawal.

this year’s preparation (outfit-wise) i’ve done a bit more than the usual 1 pair each (for me, amir & kya). now it’s 3 pairs for kya & me, 1 pair for amir (there’s only so many baju melayus that one can wear) – thinking of getting some new pairs of shirts/pants for amir later. (and prolly for papa too.. since mama got her cloth for baju raya when i bought our cloths)

here’s to another (hopefully) successful ramadhan – in bringing us more awareness and compassion to other people’s plight. lets make sure that the compassion we showed to the less fortunate would be a staple for the other months of the year.. not just in ramadhan.

to friends and family (if any of my relatives actually stumble across this), happy eid fitr. maaf zahir batin. do come by my parents’ house (since am still crashing with the parents).. gimme a ring beforehand – you wouldn’t want to be driving around the residential area trying to locate our abode.

it’s been 5 yrs since i set foot in this company. as with a few other otais in here.

time to re-evaluate what i want in my career.

nyahaha!! finally picked up my lazy arse and did what i had wanted to do since august – embed gallery into my wp look & feel.

over the month or so layout may change often (or maybe not at all!!) depending on whether i’d managed to figure out how to customise the look & feel to my own design (rather than pinjam org punya la kan… )

but still haven’t figured out how to use the imgs from gallery to place in the wp posts. that needs actual focus and not stolen time between cleaning up after sahur & getting ready for work & giving kya her bath.
