i am a strong advocate for online banking. let’s just attribute that to my extreme dislike to having to queue and wait needlessly.

with all the banks that i do business with (be it savings, current, credit card or loans), i make a point to get hold of the online banking account - when it seems worthwhile.

previously my loan accounts were with maybank and bankislam. which is ok considering i hv online banking with both banks.

have yet transfered my loans to bumiputra commerce and rhb (both of which i hv dormant savings accounts - due hving my salary credited into those by my previous employers). where previously i had no need for online banking, i do now.

rhb was a breeze. got my account up and running in no time.

bcbb on the other hand.. is a totally different ballgame altogether.

lemme count the many ways i love .. ehh the many times i’ve tried to register thee..

21 times.. at least!!

you would think .. after managing to register @ all the major local banks (and one international bank) for online banking accounts, i would be able to register another one without a hitch. but channel-e is quite a stubborn system ..

apparently when they migrated some details on their customers, bcbb managed to either leave out or erroneously transfer my i/c details. which was the root cause for my apparent inability to register the effin account. and of course the customer service officer assured me they will rectify in 5 working days (which by my calculations should be by early this month)

which of course when i tried on the final week of september - is still givin’ me grief. and yet again i called customer service and insisted they check whether my details hv been updated, surprise! surprise!.. it’s still like that.

and the customer service officer promised again that they will communicate to the relevant dept (whichever that one is) to rectify the issue. and another 3 working days is required for this to be done.

oh well.. queuing seems to be the only option then!

i guess that’s why bcbb klcc decided to open 7 days a week up to 6 pm.. prolly more and more people are unable to conduct online banking.

this snapshot was taken whilst grocery shopping @ giant. imagine pushing 37.5 kgs of toddlers (15 kg + 12.5 kg + 10 kg) - add to that a few grocery items. it’s no wonder mama surrendered early in the task.

papa went and fetched ayu and her entourage from kajang last weekend. my bro-in-law is in the states up to this sunday. needless to say, it was quite chaotic. kya is very de happy since she has friends her age to play with. her daytime naps are scarce these few days since she insists on playing with her cousins and keeps fighting her drowsiness.

night times are worse - since she can hear her cousins playing downstairs but i’ve already bundled her up to our room to try to tuck her in bed. the earliest she’d sleep would be after 10:30 pm (which coincides with ayu’s enforced bed time for her young’uns)

there is some perks to having the cousins around though, esp for mama and papa. kya - who couldn’t care less abt her grannies when i am around - end up hugging and smooching them tonnes of times whenever she sees either adam or haiqal being cozy with atuk and nenek. nyehnyeh.. pandai jealous gak anak aku nieh..

this morning, however, they’ve all been packaged and delivered back to kajang by yours truly as adam has his physiotherapy to attend tomorrow. kya will revert to playing by herself again - and conversing in her own lingo with her atuk, teddy bears and her magna-doodle board.

i need to get her into playgroups laaa.. ade ujud ke playgroup kat malaysia nieh?

haiya…. i just realised.. this trip to penang.. no photos… but tonnes of vids tho.. not the type nor the size that i’d want to place online mooahahahha….

anywho.. for some insane reason i took mon-wed off.. and started work on thursday and then it was a friday…so it’s a given that nuthin much was done.. i should learn to take the whole week off.. would i be able to ever? in this company? i dunno..

i do know one thing tho. i suddenly developed this urgent need to get hold of an ice-cream maker and start cranking up those desserts. ini all due to my bro-in-law leaving for the states next week (err actually this week.. seeing that’s it’s already monday morninnnn’!!). back to the plot. he asked if there’s anythin’ i’d like him to get/buy/kirim while he’s there. since i am not big on branded goods (don’t even know what goods originated from the u.s. of a.. apart from tommy hilfiger la ek.. so damn obvious color selection for his branding) anyway, i am digressing.. i was stumped when asked what i wanted.

(actuallynye, mama dia yg tingin nak mende nie.. ha ha ha.. and that’s the truth - YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!)

so i’ve been surfing and stumbled across a number of other brands of ice-cream makers (though these are meant for adults to operate .. as opposed to the baskin-robbins’). surfing punya surfing lagi.. stumbled across weird results from google kekeke.. e.g.

am just about done with me packing.

there’s s’thing abt packing for 3 that always make me want to bring extra stuff. as of 1:30 am - the number of luggage we have so far numbers at three (not counting kya’s bottle bag, her formula, our motley of av equipment that we feel we can’t leave home without)

am off for a 3d2n stay in penang. our last visit there was when kya was just a wee ‘lass - 3 months to be exact. i betcha she’d be excited when we take the ferry back. am going over the bridge to the hotel.

actually, there was some cajoling on my part - this time it’s related to her being use the floats i just bought in the swimming pool when we arrive at our hotel tomorrow - but then again, i’ve attempted persuasion, bribery, you name it.. every time i am obliged to administer her medication.

but somehow (maybe the gods are smiling down on me tonight), i managed to convince her that swallowing the red colored and orangey-colored syrup ain’t half bad if she actually just went along with the flow. Instead of making it like a scene out of smackdown - it’d either be me or her baba she’d be wrestling with, while we try to make her stay still enough for us to force the syrup into her mouth.

but despair no longer, mama and baba!!! kya is now a big gurrrrllll..!!!!!
