we have a house!
finally. after 6 mths of delay, mkland’s subsidiary – finally delivered the apartment that was s’posed to be ready dec 04.
i’ve been patiently following up on the status of the development – and also a number of passing by the development area (it’s smack beside the highway). delays they say are inevitable – since the contractors for st used illegal immigrants as their labor base and due to the smart-assed decision of our elected leaders – those were shipped back home and in the end, it ended up to be a move that should’ve been planned better!
enuff abt those politicians – back to home.
so I am now a belated home-owner – goodness gracious!
next in the process is to go and bitch abt the shoddy workmanship and taking measurements & photos to document this momentous event!
expect to see those loaded within 2 weeks’ time – and we’re looking for tenants! since i don’t think it efficient to be staying in PJ when both amir & i work in KL. so go figure – toll, time, effort, stress levels – all do not sum up well to induce us to consider PJ as our new home.
quick take:
it’s fawzy’s birthday today – methinks he’s convinced we forgot – we didn’t – it’s just that he was asleep before we got to take out the b’day cake and wish him – so later today it is!
